Notes of Officers Meetings

Introduction

The officers of the CMSCA usually meet once a fortnight to discuss current issues and future plans.  Full minutes have always kept of these meetings.

In September 2005 it was suggested to the officers of the CMSCA that a summary of these minutes should be sent to our friends in Chiang Mai who are close to the CMSCA and would like to be kept informed about current matters.  This has been done and has been well received.

Now (1st December 2005) that our web site has recently been re-activated, the officers have agreed that these summaries should be posted on the web site so that anyone who is interested can be aware of what we are doing and what we are striving to achieve.

We hope that our readers will understand that our regular meetings are usually heavily concerned with our current short-term issues and immediate concerns, which are usually quickly resolved.  They are primarily ‘business’ meetings and a lot of what is discussed and agreed will be of little direct interest to many readers.  Sometimes decisions taken at one meeting, with the best of intentions, have to be modified at the next meeting, because of unforeseen difficulties.

However, a glance at these summaries may help to reassure our many supporters that the officers of the CMSCA are always very active and determined to develop junior cricket in Chiang Mai to the greatest extent that our resources, both financial and personnel, permit.

In future, summaries of our officers meetings will be posted on the web site as soon as they are available.
